Terms and conditions

Hi there, thank you for dropping by our store! Please read through the following terms and conditions before you submit an order on this website.

“The Balloon Studio” or “We” refer to the website owner, whose registered company address is at 12 Arumugam Road, LTC Building B, #06-06B, S409958.

Upon successful placement of your order, an email will be sent to notify you that the order has been received by our team.

Please help us to ensure that all the order details are correct before submitting the order. In the event that we are unable to fulfil the order for any reason, we reserve the right to decline the order.

 

Balloon delivery

  • We have prepared our balloons with a whole lot of love. So please handle them with care! Refrain from direct sunlight and sharp surfaces, and refrain from hitting and squeezing them excessively.
  • Should any of the balloons burst within one hour after they have been delivered and accepted, we will evaluate the need for a refund / exchange on a case-by-case basis. After the one hour grace period, we will not hold any responsibility for balloons that have burst.
  • Our delivery services are currently managed by 3rd party courier services. We will try our best to ensure that the balloons reach you punctually. However, due to unforeseen circumstances (including weather and traffic conditions), the actual delivery time may vary. We hope to seek your kind understanding and patience!
  • Please ensure that there will be somebody present to receive the balloons at your stated time and date of delivery. (Yes, we fully recognize that it may be a surprise but please make sure that the person receiving the surprise is available!) Whenever possible, we will leave the balloons at an area of convenience. Alternatively, these deliveries will be transported back to our office (check out our location). As our delivery services are currently managed by 3rd party courier services, we apologize that we have to charge for re-delivery. Alternatively, these orders can be arranged for self-collection at a suitable time.
  • For preparation of events, we highly recommend that the balloons be scheduled for delivery approximately 1 – 2 hours before the commencement of the event.
  • We hear your excitement in purchasing these balloons! However, to ensure a smooth delivery process, please take a minute or two to confirm the delivery date, time, and location! In the event that the delivery date, time and location have to be updated, please inform us at least 2 days in advance. We will try our best to accommodate the new delivery slots.

 

Self collection

  • Please adhere to the confirmed timeslots for self-collection.
  • Similar to balloon deliveries, should any of the balloons burst within one hour after they have been self-collected, we will evaluate the need for a refund / exchange on a case-by-case basis.
  • For preparation of events, we highly recommend that the balloons be scheduled for self-collection approximately 1 – 2 hours before the commencement of the event.
  • In case of any changes to the self-collection date and time, please inform us at least 2 days in advance.

 

Helium balloons floating time

  • How we wish these balloons can continue to stay afloat for a long, long, long time…
  • While we promise that we will do our best to ensure the maximum floating time using only balloons of the highest quality (from reputable US brands like Anagram and Qualatex) and minimizing helium leakage, we have stated below the approximate floating time of the helium balloons:
    • 11” and 12” latex balloons: 6 – 8 hours
    • 36” latex balloons: 16 hours
    • 18” – 40” foil balloons: 24 hours
    • 15” Cubez balloons: 2 days
    • 16” Orbz balloons: 2 days
    • 24” Bubble balloons: 4 days
  • Please note that the floating times are approximated, and are subjected to variations like weather conditions

 

Air balloons (Non-helium)

  • Balloons that are inflated with air can stay inflated for approximately 48 hours

 

Exchange / Refund policy

  • We take a lot of pride in our products and please be assured that they have been very carefully inspected before dispatch. Please note that there will strictly be no refunds or returns once order is confirmed and payment has been made.
  • In the event that any accessories or products have experienced manufacturing defects, we will provide refunds within 14 days from the date of delivery. Please call us at +65 6980 2992 / +65 9748 0427 or email us at hello@theballoonstudio.com.sg.

 

Incorrect / Missing items

  • Our most sincere apologies for the incorrect order fulfillment. We understand that this should not happen and please allow us to rectify these mistakes.
  • Please call us at +65 6980 2992 or call / whatsapp us at +65 9748 0427 or email us at hello@theballoonstudio.com.sg with the order number and pictures of the items received.
  • We will arrange for another delivery at the earliest to replace the missing items. As our delivery services are managed by 3rd party courier services, the re-scheduled delivery may take 2 – 3 working days. In case the products are required urgently, please drop by our office for an exchange (we are really sorry for the inconvenience caused).
  • If the items were self-collected, please check the products thoroughly upon collection. Replacement will only be made by self-collection.

 

Disclaimer

  • While we try our best to ensure that the actual products look as close to the illustrations as possible, we seek your understanding that there may be some slight variances.

 

Warning

  • Please ensure adult supervision as uninflated balloons can be a potential choking hazard. All uninflated balloons should be kept out of reach from children and broken balloons should be discarded. Do not inhale helium gas at all times, as it can be a health hazard.

 

Privacy and security

  • We treat the privacy of our customers very seriously, and are fully committed to ensuring protection of your privacy.
  • We do not sell or share your personal data, and these information will be collected only for order fulfilment and after-sales services.
  • Sensitive payment information like credit card or bank details are not stored.
